It records: Every round trip caught as it happens, flat to flat, one row however many fills it took — and every fill still there behind the row.
Reading it back: Ten statistics over whatever you have filtered to, six filters, and twenty-two columns you choose between.
Risk and reward: Risk, Reward and R in ticks or dollars, with MAE, MFE and the maximum the trade ever offered you.
The chart at the exit: A screenshot taken after you were flat, attached to the row, so the setup is still there weeks later.
Analyze: Findings in plain English, each carrying the evidence under it, stating its coverage and what it cannot know.
History and guardrails: Backfill from NinjaTrader's own trade database, and optional risk guardrails that are off until you turn them on.

From picking a folder to a protected copy, start to finish, in about a minute and a half.

Pick what to protect: A whole folder or individual files, chosen with the ordinary Windows folder picker.
Pick where it goes: Any folder on any drive. A OneDrive folder is flagged, so you know a copy is kept online too.
Choose the history: How many earlier versions of each file to keep, and how long to hold on to deleted ones.
Protected, then managed: The card on the main screen, pause and resume, and the Manage page for moving or stopping a backup.

People read software terms looking for the catch. Here is everything that would be in the small print, in the large print instead.

Trial: Fourteen days of the complete application, no card up front. Nothing is held back for the paid version, so what you try is what you buy.
Licence: Perpetual. The version you bought keeps working whatever happens to this website, and every 1.x update is included.
Your data: Trades, notes and backups are ordinary files in ordinary folders. Read them without the app, copy them somewhere else, export the journal to CSV whenever you want. Nothing you make here is trapped.
Support: Goes to the person who wrote the app. No ticket queue, no first-line script, and usually an answer within two business days.
Refunds: Thirty days, in full, without being asked to justify it.
Telemetry: None. Nothing sold here reports what you do with it to anyone. The NinjaTrader journal makes no network calls at all, so its record of your account cannot leave the machine.
